• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs through detailed interviews, psychological testing, and review of history to inform treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that incorporate evidence-based interventions suited to client-specific conditions.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions via telehealth platforms, adapting techniques to suit online methodologies and ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring effective documentation for ongoing treatment.
• Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver seamless care.
• Continuously research and integrate new findings and methodologies in mental health treatment to enhance service delivery and client experience.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients including active military personnel, veterans, and their families who are experiencing various mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Understanding the unique pressures faced by individuals in these groups will be essential in guiding your therapeutic approach and ensuring effective support.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) as recognized by the state of Nevada.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and understanding.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to supporting clients through their recovery journeys.
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.

While 2 years of clinical experience in a social work or counseling role is required, experience in a community health setting, particularly with military or veteran populations, is highly valued. Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will enhance your capability to serve our clients effectively.
