This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, accommodating a schedule that includes core working hours of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While primarily a remote position, there may be occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Our team leverages modern telehealth technologies to maintain effective communication and collaboration, ensuring that our clients receive continuous support and care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the nature and severity of each client’s mood disorder symptoms, considering variations in their experiences and backgrounds.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Deliver therapeutic interventions with precision, actively engaging clients in strategies that foster resilience and promote self-care.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-help techniques.
• Continuously monitor and document clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere with psychiatrists and health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders to incorporate the latest findings into therapy.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay abreast of evolving practices in the mental health field.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and fight against the stigma associated with mood disorders through community involvement and outreach.

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders including depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele comes from various backgrounds and life circumstances, allowing you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the mental health of individuals in your community.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to closely collaborate with psychiatric professionals.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a specific focus on mood disorders.
• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in clinical practice.
