Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, delivering counseling, psychotherapy, and support tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that align with clients’ treatment goals and facilitate their progress.
  • Collect patient data through interviews, case histories, and observational techniques to evaluate their mental health status and therapeutic needs.
  • Identify underlying issues contributing to clients’ challenges, recommending appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Maintain meticulous client documentation, ensuring that all notes and reports are submitted within 24 hours of providing services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and stay updated with best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support clients who are engaged in or considering non-traditional therapies, including psychedelic-assisted healing. Your expertise will help facilitate their preparation for, and integration of, these transformative experiences, ensuring they navigate their journeys safely and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Valid LCSW license or equivalent qualification in a directly related field.
  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Demonstrated ability to be credentialed on insurance panels.
  • Current malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Capacity to manage a caseload of at least 10 weekly sessions, with each session lasting approximately 53 minutes.
  • Strong proficiency in digital Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms for seamless documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience in mental health counseling, specifically using diverse techniques and methodologies.
  • A comprehensive understanding of clinical social work practices, ethical considerations, and patient rights.
  • Familiarity with non-traditional therapeutic practices including psychedelic support, meditation, breathwork, and dreamwork.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $105,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic considerations.
