The Psychological Stress Management Clinic is seeking dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our expanding telehealth team. • Perform comprehensive client assessments through telehealth platforms to evaluate mental health needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are suitable for clients' unique circumstances.
• Facilitate the setting of therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, offering ongoing support and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports using our secure electronic health record system.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling, working closely with colleagues to enhance service delivery.

Our client base is diverse, including individuals from various backgrounds who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. As a counselor, you will be responsible for providing care that is culturally competent and attuned to the unique needs of each client. You will work to establish a strong therapeutic alliance, empowering clients to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients in a remote setting, utilizing virtual communication tools.
• Ability to show empathy and understanding for clients’ experiences, fostering a non-judgmental atmosphere that encourages openness.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively while delivering therapy and maintaining documentation remotely.

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, as it demonstrates familiarity with virtual therapy delivery methods.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, is highly valued.
• Knowledge of current best practices in mental health care, including crisis intervention and treatment plan development.
