As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at New Era Psychological Center, you will be working with a varied client population that includes individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Your role will involve forming therapeutic relationships built on trust and empathy, ensuring your clients feel safe and understood as they navigate their mental health journeys.

• A current and valid license in the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, crucial for establishing rapport with clients and facilitating effective therapy.

• Experience in providing telehealth or remote therapy services is highly preferred, as this aligns with our operational model.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high documentation standards.
