• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of hospice patients, establishing individualized and effective treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Provide empathetic individual counseling sessions and crisis interventions, assisting patients and their families in navigating emotional challenges related to terminal illness and end-of-life decisions.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops aimed at fostering resilience, coping strategies, and open discussions about grief, sorrow, and transitions.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and support staff, to ensure seamless communication and comprehensive care for patients.
• Participate actively in outreach initiatives and community awareness campaigns designed to promote mental health, particularly in the context of hospice care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and best practices in case management.

Your primary focus will be on patients within the hospice center, many of whom are coping with serious, life-limiting illnesses or end-of-life phases. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely associated field required.
