This position offers flexibility as a fully remote role, allowing you to provide essential services without geographical constraints. You will primarily engage with clients through telehealth platforms, using modern tools to facilitate effective communication and therapy sessions. Occasionally, you may collaborate with hospital staff or community partners, reflecting a cohesive network aimed at enhancing client care. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for occasional evening or weekend availability based on client needs.

• Deliver individual and group therapy to clients experiencing significant mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical support to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses and hospice staff to create a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, evaluations, and progression in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance skills pertinent to mental health assessment and crisis intervention.
• Actively participate in case reviews, contributing insights and adjustments to treatment plans while fostering a spirit of teamwork and communication.

This role focuses on serving clients with acute mental health needs, particularly those who may be dealing with the stresses associated with terminal illness or end-of-life care. You will work with individuals and their families during challenging periods, necessitating a high level of sensitivity, empathy, and clinical expertise. Your efforts will directly impact their emotional well-being and facilitate coping strategies tailored to their unique personal and familial situations.

• A valid LCSW license, maintaining compliance with state regulations and professional ethical standards.
• Strong foundational knowledge in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, particularly in crisis situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and effective planning abilities to manage multiple clients with varying needs.

• At least 2 years of experience working as a clinical social worker, preferably within a hospice, healthcare, or community mental health setting.
• Proven engagement with diverse populations, showcasing an ability to respect and navigate different cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and methodologies, enhancing your capability to deliver remote psychological services effectively.
