Prime Psychiatry Counseling Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely through our telehealth platform, allowing you to provide effective mental health care from the comfort of your own home.

As a remote provider in a telehealth setting, you will join a supportive and collaborative team that values cultural sensitivity and diversity. Our practice utilizes state-of-the-art telehealth technology to facilitate therapy sessions, ensuring that our clients receive consistent and high-quality care without geographical limitations. Though primarily a remote position, we encourage team engagement through virtual meetings and training sessions.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are culturally responsive, identifying the unique experiences and needs of each patient to facilitate personalized treatment planning.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that accommodate the diverse cultural and personal backgrounds of your clients, ensuring effective treatment and support.
• Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, aimed at addressing varied mental health concerns and fostering resilience among patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that promote holistic wellness.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during moments of mental health emergencies, providing essential guidance and resources to patients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with information that fosters informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of the therapeutic process.
• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the practice.
• Stay updated on current trends, research findings, and best practices related to mental health therapy, incorporating this knowledge into your clinical approach.

Our patient population includes individuals from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. You will have the chance to work with clients facing complex mental health challenges, navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and systemic barriers to care. Your expertise in culturally informed therapy will play a pivotal role in promoting mental wellness and resilience in this diverse community.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to cultural competence are crucial for developing trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and other remote communication tools to facilitate virtual therapy sessions.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored towards diverse populations is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on providing therapy to culturally diverse populations.
• Experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of community resources to aid in patient referrals is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ongoing assessment tools and methods for evaluating treatment effectiveness in an outpatient setting.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
