Grace Place Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Henderson, Nevada. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document all findings accurately from the first consultation through the treatment process.
• Craft personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of your clients, whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions in a nurturing, therapeutic environment, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Closely monitor client progress throughout treatment to make timely adjustments to therapeutic strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical physicians, to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Conduct follow-up communications with psychiatrists and medical professionals regarding client progress, particularly for individuals hospitalized due to acute mental health crises.
• Proactively identify signs of detrimental behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement preventative measures.
• Support family members and caregivers by educating them about mental health challenges and guiding them on how to best assist their loved ones in recovery.

You will be working with a broad spectrum of clients facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational issues. Our diverse client base includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, necessitating a flexible and adaptive counseling approach to meet individual needs effectively.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Applicants must hold current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
• Successful completion and passing of the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with exemplary interpersonal abilities.
• A sympathetic nature with a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role is highly preferred, exemplifying familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
• Proven proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and client management.
• Knowledge related to addiction disorders and co-occurring conditions will be beneficial.
• Understanding of the guidelines and best practices laid out by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Familiarity with the pharmacological effects of medication prescribed by medical professionals is advantageous.

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, and a sign-on bonus is available. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
