JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Chopra Lab is looking for part-time research support assistants. Duties: prepare seeds forgreenhouse and field planting. Assist in planting, crop managementin greenhouse and field grown plant, and follow agronomic practices. Collect various plant data starting from seed germination to maturity. Collect and bring samples to the lab for PCR based genotyping, DNA, RNA and protein isolations. Perform crosses/pollinationsand selves of selected plants. Harvest and send samples for analysis. Perform seed collection, drying, storage, andprocessing.
