In the age of digital transformation, our comprehensive platform offers event professionals leading-edge SaaS technology that provides a 360 view of their business, allowing them to cut costs, save time, and increase revenue. Some of our global clients include: ExCel London, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Omanexpo, the China National Convention Center, the Porsche Experience Center in Germany and the Sydney Opera House.

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Manager of AI Operations & Internal Tooling to lead how our organization harnesses AI to move faster, work smarter, and scale. This individual will own the discovery, build, and adoption of AI-powered internal tools from automating repetitive workflows to deploying LLM-based assistants that augment every team in the company. This is a builder-first role, spending as much time writing prompts, prototyping integrations, and reviewing pull requests as managing roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

 Ai Tooling Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Define and own the internal AI tooling roadmap, prioritizing by business impact and feasibility.
  • Partner with department leads (Sales, Support, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to surface automation opportunities.
  • Evaluate and select AI models, platforms, and SaaS tools that fit our stack and budget.

Build & Deploy:

  • Prototype, build, and ship AI-powered internal tools — chatbots, workflow automations, document processors, and data pipelines.
  • Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into existing systems via APIs, Zapier, Make, or custom code.
  • Maintain a library of reusable prompt templates, fine-tuned workflows, and automation playbooks.
  • Provide regular and on demand training across the organization.

Operations & Governance:

  • Establish guardrails, usage policies, and monitoring for AI tools used internally in cooperation with our Legal team and CISO.
  • Track cost, quality, and adoption metrics for every tool deployed; iterate based on data.
  • Ensure all tooling meets security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical operations, platform engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI or LLM-based tooling in a production or company-wide context.
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AI APIs and platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company, especially during a 50–300 person growth stage.
  • Background in data engineering, DevOps, or internal developer tools.
  • Exposure to enterprise security and compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).

Working at Momentus:

Surround yourself with highly motivated co-workers who encourage you to be your best each day. Momentus offers career opportunities in a collaborative, high-growth environment where you can make a direct impact on our product and customers. We offer competitive compensation plus high-quality benefits including:

  • Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, & vision insurance.
  • Exceptional 401k Match: Momentus will match 80% of your first 10%
  • Unlimited Time Off: Rest and recharge on your terms.
  • Remote Work: We value our global team and proudly offer the freedom to work remotely.
  • Enjoy two complimentary tickets each year to attend an event at one of our valued customer venues
  • Professional Development: We encourage continuous learning through our partnership with LinkedIn Learning

Important Notice on Location Eligibility:

This is a U.S.-based remote role. However, due to regulatory requirements, we are only able to consider candidates who reside in U.S. states that do not currently mandate salary disclosure in job postings.

Candidates residing in California, or other states with active pay transparency laws will not be considered at this time.
