Supply Chain & Finance Manager

Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried, Exempt Status

Location: Aplington, Iowa 50604

Base Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Position Overview:

A growing manufacturing organization within the windows and building products industry is seeking a highly operational Supply Chain & Finance Manager to support day-to-day business operations, accounting functions, inventory management, purchasing activities, and operational planning initiatives.

This role will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership and play a critical role in helping modernize operational processes, improve financial visibility, and support the continued growth and stabilization of the organization following a recent acquisition.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting and operational finance background combined with hands-on supply chain, purchasing, inventory, and operational coordination experience within manufacturing or industrial environments. This individual should be comfortable operating in a highly visible, fast-paced environment while supporting leadership across multiple functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage day-to-day accounting and operational finance activities including invoicing, customer billing, AR/AP, and financial tracking.

·      Oversee QuickBooks management, reporting, and accounting workflow coordination.

·      Execute and track purchase orders, supplier coordination, and procurement-related activities.

·      Support inventory management, supply/demand planning, and operational material tracking.

·      Track project budgets, customer-related schedules, operational costs, and production timelines.

·      Coordinate directly with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding operational and financial matters.

·      Assist leadership with operational reporting, budgeting visibility, and business process improvements.

·      Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, manufacturing, accounting, and executive leadership teams.

·      Support development of scalable operational procedures and more modernized business processes as the company continues to evolve operationally.

Qualifications & Skills:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related discipline preferred.

·      CPA strongly preferred. MBA viewed favorably.

·      Experience supporting accounting, operational finance, purchasing, inventory, and supply chain coordination within manufacturing, industrial, or operational business environments.

·      Strong QuickBooks experience required.

·      Experience supporting AR/AP, invoicing, customer billing, inventory tracking, and purchasing operations.

·      Ability to manage multiple operational priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational structure.

·      Strong communication skills with ability to interact directly with customers, suppliers, vendors, and executive leadership.

·      Experience supporting operational planning, scheduling, and budget tracking initiatives preferred.

·      Seeking someone with strong growth potential, operational mindset, and ability to help modernize processes and company culture.

Schedule / Work Environment:

·      Monday – Friday schedule approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM onsite in Aplington, IA.

·      Hybrid flexibility available with approximately one remote day per week.

·      Most Fridays are lighter administrative or remote-focused workdays.
