Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $50/$57 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Support the execution of strategic initiatives within the end-to-end (E2E) Supply Chain Transformation for a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. Lead and manage complex transformation projects, integrating strong project management and change management practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and organizational adoption. Provide structure and momentum in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of supply chain transformation initiatives
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, managing risks, issues, and dependencies to achieve project goals
  • Establish and support project governance, including leadership updates and critical decision escalation
  • Monitor project health, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, and required actions
  • Integrate change management activities such as stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption strategies
  • Assess business and organizational impacts of transformation and create tailored change management strategies
  • Engage stakeholders, facilitate effective meetings and readiness reviews to drive alignment and decisions
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards on project execution and business readiness
  • Capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement of project and change management practices
Required Experience & Skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional transformation projects
  • Strong project management skills including planning, governance, risk management, and execution
  • Proven ability to coordinate and drive accountability across matrixed teams
  • Experience in organizational change management, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
  • Ability to integrate project management and change management into cohesive execution
  • Ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex or ambiguous settings
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, life sciences, or other highly regulated environments
  • Familiarity with established project management and change management methodologies

  • Doctorate degree or
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience or
