Job description

 This person will manage large eLearning development projects, holding milestone calendars, review cycles, and stakeholder communication, while also contributing hands-on instructional design work creating digital learning content. The role is fully remote at approximately 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Project Management

  • Manage large-scale eLearning development projects from kickoff through final delivery
  • Build and maintain project schedules, milestone calendars, and deliverable trackers
  • Coordinate designers, developers, SMEs, and client stakeholders across concurrent workstreams
  • Run review cycles, consolidate feedback, and keep revisions moving on schedule
  • Report status, flag risks early, and manage escalation paths with the engagement lead
Instructional Design

  • Design digital learning content including course structures, learning objectives, storyboards, and assessments
  • Develop eLearning modules in Articulate Rise 360
  • Collaborate with SMEs to translate source content into structured, learner-centered designs
  • Revise deliverables based on client and internal QA feedback

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated project management experience on large eLearning development projects
  • Instructional design experience creating digital learning content
  • Proficiency in Articulate Rise 360
  • Active Articulate 360 license (contractor must provide own license)
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance PM duties and design work within a part-time schedule

Nice to Have
  • Experience designing or supporting VILT (virtual instructor-led training) and ILT (instructor-led training)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience managing distributed contractor teams
