Position: Project Coordinator Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) Duration: 12-Month Contract with Strong Potential for Extension or Conversion Hourly Pay Rate: $28.50 Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support major capital projects within its Strategic Projects Group. This team manages large-scale infrastructure projects, including new wind farms, solar installations, repower projects, substations, transmission projects, and other capital initiatives valued at $15M+. This role is critical to the success of project execution, serving as the central point of coordination for drawings, RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and communication among project teams, engineers, construction personnel, and equipment suppliers. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track project drawings, RFIs, submittals, and other critical project documentation.
  • Manage and monitor document workflows to ensure approvals and reviews are completed on schedule.
  • Utilize shared email inboxes and OneNote to track deadlines, status updates, and project deliverables.
  • Route documents to engineers, project managers, and stakeholders while ensuring timely responses.
  • Perform quality checks on project documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain both digital and physical document libraries.
  • Modify, organize, and distribute PDF documentation using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bluebeam, or similar software.
  • Print, assemble, bind, package, and ship large-format drawings and project documentation packages to construction sites and project stakeholders.
  • Communicate internally with project teams and externally with equipment vendors and suppliers as needed.
  • Support project managers and engineering teams by proactively identifying and resolving documentation bottlenecks.
Typical Day A typical day consists of managing document workflows, monitoring project deadlines, responding to email correspondence, coordinating approvals, and ensuring project documentation is properly tracked and distributed. The role includes both desk-based work and hands-on responsibilities involving printing, organizing, packaging, and shipping project documentation.
