Procon now seeks a Technology Scheduler. The candidate will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, coordinating technology project activities, monitoring milestones and dependencies, performing schedule analysis and reporting, supporting stakeholder coordination, and providing schedule risk assessments and project controls support.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or project coordination supporting technology, software implementation, or enterprise system projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based software implementations, enterprise applications, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of project scheduling principles, critical path methodology (CPM), schedule forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience supporting data migration, system implementation, or technology deployment projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal government or large enterprise technology environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for enterprise technology implementation projects.
  • Coordinate scheduling activities across project managers, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables remain on track.
  • Monitor project progress, schedule performance, critical path activities, milestones, dependencies, and potential schedule impacts.
  • Prepare schedule updates, executive dashboards, forecasting reports, and performance metrics to support project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and potential delays while recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Support project planning, execution, testing, deployment, training, and production implementation activities.
  • Assist with resource planning, workload forecasting, and schedule optimization across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Support software configuration, system implementation, data migration, and integration activities from a project scheduling perspective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between project schedules, business objectives, and technical deliverables.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance activities and project readiness milestones as required.
  • Maintain schedule documentation, reporting standards, and project controls best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of scheduling standards, templates, and methodologies.
  • Grow into broader project management, business process improvement, and leadership responsibilities within the Technology Department.
