Position Description:
Teya Development Company, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Controls Analyst to support the financial analysis and reporting of federal construction projects and/or professional services contracts. This role focuses on project accounting, cost analysis, and subcontract financial data integration, working closely with project/program management and executive leadership. The position is remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
• Provide project-level financial analysis for active construction projects and/or professional services projects.
• Analyze and maintain Project Status Reports (PSR) and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and revenue recognition.
• Extract and input subcontract financial data (including contract values and modifications) into Deltek Costpoint.
• Analyze subcontractor accounts payable (AP) activity for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with subcontract terms.
• Analyze accounts receivable (AR) activity, including billings, collections status, and revenue alignment with project progress.
• Reconcile AP and AR data provided by the accounting department to project budgets and Costpoint records.
• Review subcontract and prime contract financial documentation for consistency with project controls.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, and Accounting to ensure financial alignment and project success to include forecasting, cost-to-complete, and variance analysis.
• Provide weekly up to date reports showing inception-to-date costs to Program/Project Managers to ensure financial forecasts are on target including all Labor, ODCs, and Travel costs are accounted for.
• Track 75% expenditure reports on all individual Task Orders and communicate to Project/Program Managers to be compliant with CDRLs.
• Assist in audit support (DCAA/DCMA) by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial data within Deltek Costpoint.
• Support work breakdown structure (WBS) setup and maintenance in Costpoint
• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial tools, including advanced use of pivot tables for reporting and analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
This position does not perform accounts payable or accounts receivable processing. AP and AR transactions are handled by a separate accounting department; this role is responsible for financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting only.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. • Minimum 5 years of experience in federal construction project and/or professional services accounting or project cost analysis
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint.
• Experience supporting government contracts (CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience analyzing subcontract and project financials, including contract values, change orders, payables, and billings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex financial analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret PSR and WIP reports.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Clear and effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of products.
• Valid Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
• Experience supporting federal or government construction projects and/or professional services contracts within the federal space.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition and cost controls.
• CPA not required.
• Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills
