Job description

HCM Sales Executive

Paragon, a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) services, is seeking a Sales Executive with experience in selling payroll, timekeeping, and benefit solutions within the cannabis market. Looking for candidates with experience selling on the West Coast.

The HCM Sales Executive achieves revenue objectives by securing new clients and/or additional business from existing clients. A true sales hunter, they will identify potential targets, and direct their advancement through our sales process. The HCM Sales Executive will also build and maintain a referral network.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a successful sales strategy within assigned scope of responsibility including prospecting activities and referral network programs.
  • Identify and target revenue opportunities through prospective clients and/or clients by self-generation, networking, and business development activities.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities to consistently attain or exceed assigned sales objectives.
  • Direct prospects through consultative sales process to identify need, provide proof of concept by leveraging technology demonstrations, propose pricing, negotiate, and secure closing documents.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of HCM industry and Paragon Payroll solutions, as well as sales tools/technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Highest level of professionalism, ethics and a high standard of excellence.
  • Exemplary communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • A problem-solver with an ability to embrace technology and collaborate internally.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in HCM Sales
  • Existing banking, broker or CPA relationships preferred
  • Knowledge and experience selling into the Cannabis market
  • Ability to travel and represent Paragon at regional and/or national events
