Experience in: 

  • ALV Reports, Module Pool Programming
  • BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits
  • BAPIs, RFC, IDocs
  • Forms: SmartForms / SAPscript / Adobe
  • S/4HANA exposure (CDS Views, code adaptation)
  • Functional Knowledge
  • Strong hands-on experience in Plan to Produce / SAP PP: 
  • MRP, BOM, Routing
  • Production Orders
  • Shop Floor / Manufacturing Execution

Roles & Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in Plan to Produce (P2P) / Production Planning processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing ABAP objects in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, supporting manufacturing and production processes through high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • ABAP Development
  • Design, develop, and enhance ABAP RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Develop classical, interactive, and ALV reports using procedural and OO ABAP.
  • Create module pool programs and custom transactions where required.
  • Enhancements & Integrations
  • Implement BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots (implicit/explicit).
  • Develop and maintain integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and APIs.
  • Work on output forms (SmartForms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms).
  • Plan to Produce (PP) Functional Alignment
  • Collaborate with PP/QM functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Support manufacturing processes including: 
o    Production Planning (MRP, BOM, Routing)
o    Shop Floor Execution (Production Orders, Confirmations)
o    Quality Management (Inspection lots, results recording)
o    Inventory Movements (GI/GR for Production)
S/4HANA & Advanced ABAP
Develop S/4HANA-ready ABAP objects including: 
o    CDS Views
o    Performance-optimized Open SQL
o    Code remediation for S/4HANA migrations
Exposure to RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is an added advantage.
Testing & Support

  • Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT cycles, and resolve defects.
  • Provide production support and han dle critical business cycles.
  • Documentation & Governance
  • Prepare technical specifications (TS), design documents, and code review artifacts.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, best practices, and Clean Core principles.

Good to Have Skills

  • SAP QM integration with PP
  • SAP Fiori / UI5 exposure
