• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address both pre-crisis and crisis situations.
• Provide consultations as necessary, contributing to the creation of behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication management plans.
• Efficiently document client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to evaluate patient needs accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to forge and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to individual patients.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold organizational standards and quality of care.
• Serve as a key liaison to local service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating comprehensive care delivery.
• Host community engagement initiatives to raise awareness of available programs and services, fostering new partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Engage in professional development through conferences, further education, and participation in task forces relevant to mental health.
• Adhere to and promote our organizational mission, values, and philosophy throughout all interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support daily operations and patient care standards.

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and those requiring support due to developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Counselors will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring interventions and support strategies to meet their unique needs and goals for recovery.

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
• An independent LMHC license to practice in Massachusetts is mandatory.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings is beneficial.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and risk assessment strategies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Life Change Behavioral Center offers an extensive benefits package that includes:
