Modern Psychotherapy is seeking a Dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory documentation through meticulous record-keeping, ensuring all records are completed in a timely manner.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to enhance the diagnosis and treatment processes.
• Foster collaborative relationships with community partners and service systems to develop positive behavior support plans, enhancing client care.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, highlighting a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
• Serve as a representative for our organization within the community, advocating for clients and collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and relevant meetings to stay abreast of advancements in mental health care.
• Promote and integrate the mission, values, and principles of Modern Psychotherapy into daily work practices.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director, ensuring a unified team approach to care.

In this role, you will provide counseling services to a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use issues, and those recovering from traumatic brain injuries. Our client base spans various demographics, and the ideal candidate will be sensitive to the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each individual. You will work to create tailored therapeutic approaches that foster healing, resilience, and personal growth.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective counseling interventions.
• A valid and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license, allowing you to practice in Massachusetts.

While not required, experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches will be considered advantageous. Candidates who have previously worked with diverse populations or have significant experience in teletherapy are especially encouraged to apply.
