This position reports into our office in Champaign, IL location. Local candidates preferred. However, we may consider hybrid/remote work arrangements 

Typical pay for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

The Oracle Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Horizon Hobby's Oracle Fusion applications with a focus on the finance (ERP) module, and Oracle Integrations Cloud. This role is a hands-on role that collaborates with business stakeholders to deliver support and solutions in support of the business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Oracle Fusion Applications and or Oracle Integrations Cloud (OIC)
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Applications focused on finance (ERP) module and provide guidance to Horizon Hobby team members
  • Provide technical support for Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC to ensure a smooth functioning integration for business processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide technical solutions
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of the Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC
  • Participate in system upgrades and migrations to ensure a smooth transition
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC tools & technologies to allow suggestion improvements for system functionality enhancements
  • Support and train end-users on the proper use of Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC
  • Work Closely with the project management team to plan and execute Oracle Fusion Applications and OIC related projects
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any potential issues
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve any technical issues
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle Fusion and Applications and OIC to provide recommendations for implementation
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to data security and confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned with the scope of the position

Education & or Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience with Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Finance ERP module, and Oracle Integrations Cloud are highly desired
  • Knowledge of cloud technology design patterns, security concepts, database management, and web platforms 
  • Scripting, SQL, PS/SQL, PowerShell, Batch, Low Code / No Code development 
  • Prior experience with Power BI or analytics reporting tools 
  • Experience with credit card processing, receipts, invoicing and payment platforms
  • Knowledge of General Accounting Practices    
  • Awareness of and the ability to use a wide variety of software solutions and tools to affect change 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in non-technical terms 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task 
  • Project management and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of business operations in manufacturing, supply chain, financials, distribution and 1P and 3PL business models
