This position is primarily remote, giving you the flexibility to manage your work-from-home setup while remaining integrated with a collaborative team dedicated to mental health care. The outpatient office setting allows for a client-focused approach, ensuring that your practice aligns with the standards and regulations of outpatient therapy. Regular team meetings and collaborative consultations will be conducted virtually to maintain team cohesion and communication, ensuring you have the support you need as a clinician.

• Evaluate the ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients, identifying their unique needs and challenges, and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy, employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies that are tailored to meet the specific clinical needs of clients.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary program planning alongside psychiatry team members and other relevant personnel to enhance program effectiveness.
• Engage as a primary or co-therapist in group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment conducive to healing and personal growth.
• Collect and document pertinent data in accordance with clinical, programmatic, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and high-quality care.
• Adhere to agency policies and ethical standards, fostering a professional environment that emphasizes respect and integrity.
• Offer case management services to ensure continuity of care, collaborating with both outpatient and inpatient teams for triage evaluations and crisis intervention when necessary.

The clients served by Family Behavioral Guidance Services encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health conditions. As an LPC, you will provide care to individuals, couples, and families navigating various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and other related technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in primary care or medical settings will be an added advantage, enhancing the comprehensive care model we strive to provide.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
