Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, and the work environment is designed to foster a supportive and collaborative atmosphere among clinicians. As part of a vibrant telehealth team, you will engage in regular virtual check-ins, team meetings, and case discussions that facilitate professional development and ensure high-quality patient care. Our office operates strictly within the established hours of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' experiences with eating disorders and related mental health concerns.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, collaboratively defining achievable recovery goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate recovery and growth.
  • Guide therapy sessions aimed at helping clients address and reshape their distorted beliefs regarding body image, food, and self-worth.
  • Support clients in acquiring healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to combat disordered eating behaviors.
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuous, comprehensive care and address clients' overall wellbeing.
  • Deliver psychoeducational resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of eating disorders and fostering a supportive recovery environment.
  • Maintain precise documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and professional development initiatives to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge in the field of eating disorder treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on treating individuals struggling with various eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. As a clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing support to clients from diverse backgrounds, each at different stages of their recovery journey. Your expertise will help them cultivate healthier relationships with food and body image while empowering them to reclaim their self-esteem and overall mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Massachusetts.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored specifically for eating disorder treatment, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
  • A strong understanding of the complexities associated with eating disorders and the co-occurring mental health conditions that often accompany them.
