WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Proven experience in technical event production, overseeing all aspects of fabrication, audiovisual, and logistics for live events, ensuring seamless execution across multiple venues and locations.
  • Strong background in multi-use fabrication and set design, working with a variety of materials and structures for versatile event setups, while managing multi-stop tours with detailed planning for logistics and transportation.
  • Experience in labor management, including coordinating teams of technicians, skilled laborers, and vendors, while also overseeing the safe operation of heavy equipment for events and installations.
  • Vendor management: Oversee relationships with vendors across audio, lighting, staging, fabrication, graphics, digital technology, venues, and labor, ensuring timely delivery, installation, and adherence to THETEAM's standards for sustainability, diversity, and quality control.
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing various elements of large-scale projects from planning through execution, ensuring all aspects are meticulously organized and meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with account teams to ensure flawless project delivery, aligning with the client's objectives, budget, and timeline.
  • Execution: Oversee the execution of events, ensuring smooth day-of operations, managing decor, setup, staffing, and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Client interaction: Support the event director in managing client communication, offering updates and resolving concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop, manage, and reconcile project budgets of $500k+, ensuring projects stay within financial parameters and meet expected targets.
  • Create and manage production schedules, run-of-show documents, and enforce deliverable dates critical to the success of the project.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring all client needs are addressed promptly throughout the course of the project.
  • Lead and guide the project team, providing leadership, communicating the project vision, and motivating team members to achieve goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented atmosphere, providing work direction, coaching, and professional development to staff, while establishing best practices for project management.
  • Cultivate collaboration within the account team, identifying nuances and continuously evolving processes to ensure the team works effectively across integrated projects.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Base salary range: $75-85K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
