Job description

About the role and team

Working as a Product Operations manager means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment where you serve as the hub bridging product, engineering, and business teams. You will lead the development and rollout of products that drive results on our highest-priority growth and efficiency levers, ensuring we build the right platform solutions to support global scale. This is not a role for those seeking a predictable routine; it is for those who find purpose in the messiness of scaling a global business and can maintain a high talent bar for excellence.

This role requires a unique combination of grit and intellectual curiosity to turn complexity into clarity at speed. You will navigate competing priorities and lead through influence rather than control, often making critical decisions with imperfect information. If you are energized by the challenge of building globally scalable processes within a complex organization and move with urgency to solve what's hard, this is where you'll grow. We are looking for individuals who take deep ownership of their work and are ready to go boldly together to move the real world.

Rate of Pay:                 $241,925 to $290,310 per Year

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.

What you'll do

  • Lead global go-to-market strategy and expansion plans across verticals.
  • Ensure effective product market fit and sustainable growth.
  • Define operating structure and processes to implement and scale product strategy.
  • Facilitate regular communications with Tech and Business Leadership on product vision and progress.
  • Advise Tech teams throughout the product lifecycle on business implications and global feasibility of product portfolio.
  • Develop end-to-end product business plans and project-manage Ops teams on implementation.
  • Ensure cross-functional partners are aligned on key objectives for products and collaborate with partner teams to prepare Uber business for product launches.
  • Track core business metrics and identify key problem areas or geographies impacted by product post-launch.
  • Surface and advocate for key insights from business to advise product improvement.
  • May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Position requires:
    • Relational database concepts: SQL and MySQL;
    • Building consumer-facing technology products;
    • Optimizing of product features to increase conversion rate;
    • Defining product specifications and user experiences;
    • Designing and implementing large scale customer experiments;
    • Experimentation techniques, including simulation or A/B testing;
    • Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing machine learning systems;
    • Developing relevant metrics and KPIs to measure performance by product teams.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.

You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.
