Job description

About Us:

Zest Health is redefining care for the 40M+ Americans with chronic dermatologic conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Through our virtual dermatology clinic, Zest is making care more accessible, effective, and affordable. Join our well-resourced, passionate team as we set the new gold standard for value-based specialty care.

Job Summary:

Zest Health is seeking a Product Manager to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will own the end-to-end product experience for Zest's member and provider-facing platforms. You will serve as the connective tissue between clinical, engineering, marketing, and operations - ensuring that what we build drives exceptional patient outcomes and measurable business results. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at a company in an exciting phase of rapid growth.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Execute the Product Roadmap

  • Partner with the CMO and engineering team to translate product priorities into clear user stories and engineering tickets.
  • Write detailed requirements, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for new features.
  • Own backlog grooming and sprint preparation to ensure engineering always has well-defined work.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives alongside engineering leadership.
  • Coordinate feature releases and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout development.
  • Help identify blockers early and work across teams to keep projects moving.

2. Build with Evidence

  • Conduct and synthesize user research - including member interviews, provider feedback, and behavioral data - to ground product decisions in real-world needs
  • Own product analytics: define key metrics, instrument tracking, and use data to evaluate feature performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Design and manage A/B tests and experiments that improve enrollment, engagement, and clinical outcomes

3. Strengthen the Value Proposition

  • Ideate on and contribute to new features that deepen Zest's value for members, providers, and health plan partners
  • Ensure the platform reflects and reinforces Zest's clinical philosophy - whole-person, high-touch, outcomes-focused care
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnerships on product capabilities that support enrollment, retention, and partner reporting

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of product experience, ideally at a digital health, healthtech, or consumer health company
  • Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality product in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment
  • Strong command of product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog) and comfort with data-driven decision making
  • Experience with user research methodologies - you know how to talk to users and translate insight into action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to align stakeholders across clinical, technical, and business functions
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and figuring things out independently
  • Critical thinking and self-starter mentality built for a fast-paced setting
  • Hybrid in our DC office or EST timezone preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B2C health platforms - ideally with both member-facing and provider-facing product surfaces
  • Background in or deep familiarity with chronic disease management, specialty care, or value-based care models
  • Experience working with payer or health plan partners and understanding of their data and reporting needs
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare data infrastructure, and the regulatory constraints of building in healthcare

Why Join the Zest Team?

  • Meaningful work alongside dynamic, mission-driven teammates
  • High-visibility roles with direct exposure to company leadership and meaningful growth opportunity as the company scales
  • Robust compensation package inclusive of competitive pay, equity grants, and retirement plan matching
  • Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision plans

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.
