Job description

Inspira Financial is looking for a Product StrategyLeadto define a transformational next-generation experience for the people and employers who use ourplatform- one that meaningfully improves engagement, utilization, andhealth and financial outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of two critical audiences: accountholders, who experience their benefits through our website and mobile app, and employers, who manage their programs through ouradminapplications.

We're looking for someone who understands human behavior, knows how to build digital experiences that people genuinely love, and is excited to apply data, personalization, and AI to make those experiences smarter over time. You'll partner closely with our design team to reimagine how our products are delivered - including how we integrate broader health concepts and how we use data to personalize and improve the experience. This person should be able to paint a vivid, forward-looking vision for what the digital experience can become, grounded in a real understanding of how people behave and what drives (or blocks) engagement.

This is not a traditional product management role. What matters most is a genuine, hands-on track record of building digital product experiences that end users loved - experiences that shipped, were adopted, and moved the needle on engagement or outcomes. We're looking for someone fluent in human behavior, UX, and data-driven personalization (including AI-powered approaches), who can quickly get up to speed on the consumer-directed health space and reengineer our experience around what people actually need. Prior CDH industry experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and articulate a bold, transformational vision for the future of the accountholder experience, spanning both the website and mobile app
  • Develop and articulate a transformational vision for the future of the employer experience within the application
  • Apply an understanding of human behavior to identify what drives - and what blocks - engagement, utilization, and better health and financial outcomes, and translate those insights into reimagined experiences
  • Partner closely with the design team to reengineer existing experiences and prototype new ones, bringing deep behavioral insight into the design process
  • Explore how AI, data, and personalization can be used to make the experience smarter - from tailored guidance and content to proactive nudges that help people get more value from their benefits
  • Imagine new ways of delivering our products, including how we integrate broader health concepts and how we collect and use data to personalize and improve the experience
  • Immerse yourself in how accountholders live with and use their benefits day to day, and identify where the current experience falls short of what they need
  • Immerse yourself in how employers manage and evaluate their programs through Health Wallet Manager, and identify opportunities to improve their experience
  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate vision and user needs into requirements, prioritization input, and roadmap direction
  • Serve as an internal advocate for the accountholder and employer experience, representing their perspective in cross-functional planning
  • Interface directly with accountholders, employers, and partners to gather feedback, validate direction, and build trust in our roadmap
  • Create and deliver clear written and verbal materials that communicate strategy and vision to both internal teams and external partners
  • Operate as a self-directed leader who can define their own approach to a role that doesn't have an established playbook, and who is looked to as a subject matter expert and leader within the company
What We're Looking For
  • A track record of having built digital product experiences for end users - experience that shipped, was adopted, and made a measurable difference in engagement or outcomes
  • Strong experience in UX design, UX/user research, human-centered design, or a related discipline, with a demonstrated ability to translate user insight into product decisions
  • Experience using data, personalization, or AI/ML to improve a digital product experience (e.g., tailored recommendations, adaptive content, predictive engagement)
  • A strong understanding of human behavior and what drives engagement, utilization, and adoption, and the ability to partner effectively with designers to bring that understanding to life
  • The ability to reimagine and reengineer existing experiences, not just optimize them - and to paint a vivid, credible picture of what the experience of the future looks like
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in product strategy, digital experience design, or a closely related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and deliver polished, persuasive presentations
  • A demonstrated self-starter: someone who picks up ambiguous, undefined problems and forges a path forward without needing detailed direction
  • Strong general leadership presence and judgment - this role does not manage people, but is viewed internally as a leader and subject matter expert
  • Comfort and credibility interfacing directly with accountholders, employers, and partners
  • Extremely strong work ethic and ownership mentality
  • Genuine excitement about building solutions that change people's lives through better health and greater wealth
Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience with HRA, FSA, Dependent Care, Commuter, or other notional benefits, and/or working knowledge of HSA, ESF, or other CDH products
  • Experience integrating broader health or wellness concepts into a financial or benefits product
  • Familiarity with the employer-side needs of managing a CDH program (reporting, enrollment, plan administration)
  • Experience with usability testing or behavioral design methods in a consumer-facing product context
  • Experience presenting at industry events or contributing to RFP responses
Why This Role

You know how to turn a deep understanding of user behavior into digital experiences people love - and you're energized by the idea of using data and AI to make those experiences even smarter. This role gives you the platform to reimagine the accountholder and employer experience from the ground up, at a company built to help people live healthier and build greater wealth. You don't need to already be a CDH expert - you need to be great at building products people love, and ready to become one.
