In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to gather essential information regarding clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs.
• Developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique goals and therapeutic progress.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Monitoring and documenting clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Advocating for clients’ rights and helping them access relevant mental health services and community resources.
• Upholding strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards, as required by professional organizations and state licensing boards.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing mood disorders, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and stress-related issues. Your expertise as an LMFT will be pivotal in addressing the psychological needs of clients, helping them navigate complex emotional landscapes while fostering resilience and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LMFT license in the state of New York.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focused on mood disorders.
• An understanding of psychopharmacology and its application in a collaborative care model.
• A proven track record of successfully improving client outcomes in therapeutic settings.

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, based on your experience and caseload. In addition, we offer:
