Title: SAP PaPM Cloud Lead

Location: 100% remote

Duration: 12 months, with potential to extend or convert

Interview Process: 2 virtual rounds

The SAP PaPM Cloud Lead will play a critical role in this modernization effort by architecting, developing, and delivering scalable SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Cloud solutions. This role provides technical leadership across allocation model design, cloud architecture, data integration, reconciliation, auditability, and end-to-end financial allocation processes. The Lead will drive integrations with SAP S/4HANA, Anaplan, third-party systems, and SAC, ensuring accurate posting of allocation results and enabling transparent, enterprise-wide financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of PaPM Cloud allocation models, rules, functions, and performance-optimized calculation logic.
  • Architect and oversee integrations between PaPM Cloud, SAP S/4HANA (ACDOCA, CO-PA, allocations), Anaplan, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, REST/OData APIs, and external systems.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines, reconciliation frameworks, and auditability controls across all allocation processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Retail, Procurement, and Architecture teams to translate business allocation requirements into scalable cloud solutions aligned with CVS's S/4HANA transformation.
  • Enable SAC reporting through secure, performant data models and integration flows.
  • Oversee posting of allocation results back to S/4HANA, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial and operational controls.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, and related cloud services.
  • Establish best practices for cloud architecture, performance tuning, testing, and lifecycle management of PaPM Cloud solutions.
  • Mentor team members and guide delivery partners to ensure consistent, high-quality solution development.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Expert-level SAP PaPM Cloud experience (highest priority).
  • Strong knowledge of S/4 Finance, including ACDOCA, CO-PA, and allocation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with OData / REST APIs and cloud-based integration patterns.
  • Proficiency with SAP Integration Suite/CPI and API-driven integrations.
  • Experience designing and supporting SAC reporting and analytics models.
  • Working knowledge of SAP BTP and HANA Cloud services.
  • Ability to lead complex technical design discussions and influence enterprise architecture decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
