Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations for a multinational client in the food & agribusiness sector. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, documentation management, and procurement workflow execution for North America Human Nutrition manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include coordinating supplier processes, collecting and validating documentation, updating client systems, and ensuring procurement workflows move efficiently through approval.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and close procurement workflows in client systems (e.g., new vendor setup, raw material approvals, inactivation, formula updates, supplier/distributor changes).
• Update suppliers contact information
• Follow up with suppliers to collect required documentation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely approvals.
• Upload, organize, and maintain vendor and ingredient documentation in designated databases (e.g., SharePoint, TraceGains, ERP).
• Track workflow status and pending actions, escalating issues to client stakeholders when deadlines are at risk.
• Coordinate workflow activities with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Quality, PD&A, Manufacturing, Sales) to ensure data accuracy and timely approvals.
• Support supplier-facing processes such as sample requests, forecasts, and supplier scorecards.
• Assist in sourcing-related initiatives, such as supplier quotations, new product development projects, and risk management activities.
• Maintain accurate logs of all supplier requests, submissions, approvals, and escalations to support compliance and governance.
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting ways to streamline workflow timelines.
• Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and traceability of all supplier and procurement records.
• Perform other duties as assigned under client direction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
