Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to create your own schedule and work from anywhere. As part of our commitment to work-life balance, we offer over 30 hours of work per week for full-time employees or flexible part-time options exceeding 5 hours per week. Our telehealth platform is designed to facilitate seamless communication, enabling you to focus more on providing client care rather than administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of client needs through secure video conferences, allowing you to understand their history, presenting issues, and treatment goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client, monitoring their progress, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support clients in building coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and effective communication techniques.
• Documenting all client sessions in compliance with ethical and legal standards while minimizing paperwork to enhance your focus on counseling.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through team meetings, training sessions, and collaboration with other mental health professionals within the organization to share best practices and improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of stable, low-acuity adults who present with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mild depression, stress management, and adjustment issues. You will play a critical role in creating a safe and supportive virtual environment, helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent with the ability to practice independently without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional record, demonstrating your commitment to ethical practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in using technology and maintaining a stable internet connection to facilitate telehealth sessions.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor’s Degree is the minimum educational requirement, candidates holding a Master’s Degree in the same fields will be favored. Significant experience in providing telehealth services, especially with adult populations, will set you apart. Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT can enhance your candidacy, as will prior experience in a community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
