In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in providing specialized mental health services to individuals dealing with a wide array of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related issues. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your working conditions while maintaining a strong connection with your colleagues and support system. Our practice operates primarily from Monday to Friday, with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There may be occasions where evening hours are needed to accommodate patient schedules, so some flexibility will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge psychological well-being, utilizing various standardized assessment tools to establish baseline measurements and guide treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans customized to address each patient’s unique psychological and emotional needs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to effectively support patients in their therapeutic journey.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of trust and empowerment where patients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and enhance emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, contributing to multidisciplinary treatment planning and ongoing care coordination.
• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills during mental health emergencies to stabilize and support patients.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment processes, and available community resources to promote understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress.
• Actively participate in professional development through case conferences and team meetings, staying informed of the latest trends and research in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to working with a diverse patient population, including individuals managing anxiety, mood, personality, and trauma-related disorders. You will engage with adults from various backgrounds, offering tailored mental health services that respect cultural differences and individual experiences, thereby enhancing the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop actionable treatment plans is critical.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Proficiency in various electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer-based applications to track patient progress and manage documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in a clinical mental health setting, is preferred.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and trauma-informed care approaches will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions, as well as crisis intervention, will be a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits
