Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client intake sessions and prepare detailed summaries, treatment plans, and case notes while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with state and NCQA regulations.
  • Offer supervision to Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, if you have completed the required supervision training.
  • Engage with clients' families by providing education on treatment processes and ways to support their loved ones in adherence to therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilize available resources from public and private agencies to meet client needs; this may involve referrals to community organizations and collaboration in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Report safety concerns according to mandatory reporting guidelines, ensuring the well-being of all patients.
  • Design and facilitate clinical treatment programs for individuals with acute or chronic mental health issues, attending staff conferences to discuss treatment evaluations.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups while educating patients and their families on prescribed therapeutic and medication regimens.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups aimed at enhancing patient understanding and coping skills regarding mental health.

Qualifications
