• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students, developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate established best practices.
• Provide psychotherapy services utilizing a range of evidence-based methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, educators, and administrative staff, to foster an integrated approach to student care.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to promote continuous quality improvement in service delivery.
• Offer educational resources and support to students and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health practices, applying new knowledge to enhance clinical effectiveness.
• Manage a full patient caseload, ensuring timely communication and check-ins to achieve and monitor treatment goals effectively.
• Uphold ethical standards and guidelines set by professional organizations, including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

In this role, you will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your role contributes significantly to creating a supportive environment that allows these young individuals to thrive both academically and socially.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• A minimum of 3 years of focused clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
• Strong knowledge of solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary for effective assessment and intervention.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• Experience in school-based mental health settings or with child and adolescent clients.
• Familiarity with educational processes and systems that influence student mental health.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities to better serve diverse patient populations.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 83,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
