What you'll do at Cascade:

Position Overview

As the Portfolio Loan Processor, you are responsible for the end-to-end processing of mortgage loans post-origination to funding. You will work in a high volume, fast paced, team-oriented environment. It will be your responsibility to work directly with the borrower and other outside parties to gather and clear conditions to get the loan file to close quickly. You serve as the dedicated Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to all parties of the transaction, including the manufactured home dealership, to ensure seamless communication, strict compliance, high level of customer service, and efficient execution from intake to funding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional borrower and manufactured home retailer experience through timely, professional, and transparent communication regarding process expectations and documentation requirements.
  • Source and secure critical loan documentation from borrowers, builders, title companies, and third-party vendors including paystubs, VOEs, asset conditions, contracts, etc.
  • Analyze complex credit files, thoroughly reviewing title commitments, income verification, asset statements, and credit histories for accuracy.
  • Apply company Portfolio guidelines to ensure total file compliance and qualification prior to underwriting submission.
  • Package and prepare fully compliant loan files, optimizing file structure to facilitate efficient underwriting reviews.
  • Calculate income correctly and clear certain underwriting conditions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Underwriters and Loan Officers to clear outstanding conditions, restructure files, and resolve loan-level changes.
  • Partner with the Closing Department to streamline the final review process, ensuring efficient loan closing and funding.
  • Maintain strict regulatory compliance with all applicable federal and state lending laws across the entire portfolio.

What you will need to join Cascade

  • 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience.
  • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Manufactured Housing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Sound knowledge of federal lending compliance laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks methodically and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines or high-volume pressures.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and collaborative skills to support a cohesive team environment.
  • Ability to adjust easily to work situations and job responsibilities based on business needs including working overtime as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized background in construction lending.
  • Encompass LOS experience.
