About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an Appian Security Developer to support Department of State and the continued development of a custom Fleet Appian solution.

This position is full-time/remote. The selected candidate will perform security-focused Appian development and cybersecurity gap remediation to help the system meet Authority to Operate requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and enhance a custom Fleet Appian solution with a focus on improving system cybersecurity.
  • Implement technical changes that support the system’s Authority to Operate requirements.
  • Identify and remediate cybersecurity gaps within the Appian application.
  • Translate cybersecurity requirements and remediation needs into Appian development solutions.
  • Collaborate with other developers to complete and improve the custom Appian solution.
  • Work with functional support personnel to review user stories and support application testing.
  • Coordinate with the security team to incorporate cybersecurity best practices and lessons from previous security efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues affecting the application.
  • Support validation of completed security remediation work.
Minimum Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Advanced proficiency in software development.
  • Advanced proficiency in cybersecurity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Appian Process Automation.
