• Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Provide individualized counseling sessions, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions designed to foster community support among participants, covering topics relevant to mental health challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans with measurable objectives, ensuring the therapeutic strategies align with clients’ personal goals and needs.
• Assist clients experiencing crisis situations by providing immediate interventions, conducting thorough risk assessments, and coordinating necessary emergency support.
• Participate in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the mental health field.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive client care.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults coping with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, providing the counselor with a rich tapestry of individual stories and therapeutic opportunities. Your support will help empower these individuals toward recovery and improved mental health outcomes.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a mental health counselor in Florida, with a focus on meeting state regulatory standards.
• A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in conducting assessments and providing therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional education and development, maintaining knowledge of best practices in the field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and support clients throughout their therapeutic journeys.
• Ability to utilize robust assessment methodologies to pinpoint client needs accurately.

• Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction therapy, or family therapy will be advantageous and preferred.
• Experience working in remote counseling or telehealth settings is highly valued due to the nature of our service delivery model.
