Position Overview

Health Center Care Plans Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to work in a detox center, providing essential support and advocacy to individuals battling addiction and related challenges. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in improving client outcomes and helping them navigate their recovery journey.

About the Organization

At Health Center Care Plans Inc., we are committed to providing holistic care that empowers vulnerable populations in our community. Our mission revolves around delivering comprehensive support through a person-centered approach, emphasizing collaboration with community partners and a strong commitment to social justice. We pride ourselves on being advocates for our clients, ensuring they have access to a wide range of social services designed to address their unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility while working with a dedicated team of professionals. The detox center serves individuals in various stages of substance use recovery. You will be part of a supportive network of clinicians and staff, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth. Our organization values work-life balance, ensuring that our employees can perform at their best while also managing their personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and environmental barriers that impact their recovery.
  • Develop detailed, individualized service plans that incorporate their specific treatment goals, interventions, and regular progress evaluations.
  • Provide one-on-one counseling and support sessions for clients and their families, addressing various life challenges related to addiction and mental health.
  • Engage actively with clients to build rapport and trust, facilitating a safe environment where they can express their feelings and challenges.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments and safety planning to ensure client well-being during critical moments.
  • Collaborate with external community agencies and organizations to coordinate services, ensuring clients have access to the resources they need for their recovery.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available services, thereby reducing stigma associated with addiction.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to enhance professional development and share knowledge with peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, providing them with therapeutic interventions that empower them to overcome their challenges. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients achieve stability, improve their quality of life, and facilitate their reintegration into society. The diversity of the client population will allow you to apply a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • An active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and its applications in therapeutic settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, showing cultural competence and empathy.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a social service agency or healthcare setting, particularly in addiction treatment or mental health.
  • Familiarity with community resources available to support substance use recovery.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision needs.
  • Retirement plans with an employer match to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, personal days, and statutory holidays.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional development to continually enhance your skills.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Health Center Care Plans Inc., we believe in investing in our team members’ growth and development. As you gain experience in this role, there will be opportunities for advancement into leadership positions or specialized areas of clinical practice. We encourage ongoing education and training, and support our employees in pursuing additional certifications relevant to their professional aspirations.

Why Join Our Team
