You will be working primarily with clients in a hospice setting, a compassionate environment aimed at providing holistic support to individuals transitioning through critical life stages. Your role will engage you with clients and their families, facilitating emotional wellbeing in delicate circumstances.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, emotional challenges, and social support systems.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all facets of a client’s health.

• Provide education and support for clients and their families, enabling them to understand treatment protocols and available resources.

• Stay informed about current developments, research, and best practices in mental health to continually refine your approach to care.

In this role, you will work primarily with adult clients in a hospice setting, many of whom may be experiencing significant emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients often grapple with issues rooted in grief, loss, and transitions associated with life-limiting illnesses. Your expertise will not only aid clients in processing their emotions but also enhance their overall quality of life during critical times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas is a must.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.

• Proficiency in solution-focused and trauma-informed psychotherapy interventions is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse clients and collaborate with team members.

• Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or similar settings is preferred but not mandatory.

• A background in crisis intervention and grief counseling will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems as a means to maintain clinical documentation.

• The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
