Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to understand clients' mental health needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities suited to individual client needs.
• Maintain clear and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards to protect client privacy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care that promotes positive outcomes.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously elevate the quality of care provided to clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies to enhance your therapeutic techniques and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Community Health Clinic serves a diverse population with varied backgrounds and mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients of all ages, focusing on those experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your role is critical in fostering resilience and empowering individuals to improve their mental wellness through personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least three years of clinical experience in a counseling setting, utilizing therapeutic modalities to support clients.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that allow for effective client interaction and collaboration with team members.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt treatment strategies as necessary based on individual client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based practices in a clinical setting, particularly with CBT and DBT.

• Familiarity with community resources and programs to assist clients in accessing additional support.

Compensation and Benefits
