Job Description

  • Provide professional phone assistance to callers through a criteria-based prior authorization process.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials.
  • Conduct data entry and navigate multiple computer applications while utilizing two screens.
  • Possess Pharmacy Tech Certification or state licensure required.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Work independently in a productivity-driven role.
  • Complete at least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support function.

Critical Information

  • This is a fully remote position with a dedicated workspace required.
  • Training hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.
  • Regular shift after training is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST.

Education/Licenses Needed

  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
  • National pharmacy technician certification or state registration/certification/licensure per state regulations.
