Native American Transformer Services, Inc. (NTS) is a Native American-owned power transformer field services company headquartered in Reno, Nevada. We provide transformer supply, installation, maintenance, repair, oil processing, FR3 retrofills, and rigging services to federal agencies, investor-owned utilities, and large corporations nationwide. ABOUT THE ROLE

NTS is looking for an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to support our Senior Project Manager with the administration and coordination of transformer installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service projects. This role is primarily administrative and coordination-focused, with regular travel to active job sites. It's a true growth-track position: NTS provides structured, hands-on training with a defined path toward advancement to Project Manager within our Transformer Commissioning & Service Division.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain project files, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders

• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables

• Coordinate travel, lodging, and logistics for field crews and technicians

• Support scheduling of subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries

• Travel to job sites to provide on-site administrative support

• Help maintain compliance documentation and closeout packages

• Shadow the Senior Project Manager to build toward future PM responsibility

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma required; degree in construction management, business, or related field a plus

• 0–2 years in an administrative, coordination, or field services support role — recent grads welcome

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25–50% of the time

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator

• Eager to grow into a Project Manager role

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $29.00 – $35.00/hour, commensurate with experience
