We're looking for an experienced Assurance Senior Associate to join our expanding State and Local Government Practice. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the nation's most significant government audits, including large states, counties, cities, airports, ports, transit agencies, and one of the largest statewide federal compliance audits in the country.

What You'll Do

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, staffing, and client communications.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop associates and experienced staff.
  • Build trusted relationships with government leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Review workpapers, identify risk areas, and ensure audit quality.
  • Develop expertise in government auditing standards, federal compliance, and complex public-sector reporting.
  • Contribute to practice growth through client service excellence and business development initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • 2 ½ + years of public accounting experience; State and Local Government audit experience strongly preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with required accounting coursework.
  • CPA license preferred; CPA eligible or actively pursuing certification required.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements while delivering exceptional client service.
