As a pricing actuarial analyst on the Auto Product Pricing team, you’ll work on special projects that are critical to advancing our understanding of rate adequacy at the countrywide, regional, and state levels. In this role, you’ll apply established and innovative techniques to uncover deeper insights and refine pricing methodologies. You’ll also analyze large datasets to answer business questions related to rate adequacy and drive impactful results independently or as part of a project team.

This is a remote position.

Must-have qualifications 

  • A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience.
  • Minimum of five passed actuarial examinations for credentialing according to the Casualty Actuarial Society's Syllabus of Basic Education.

Preferred skills

  • Proficiency with R/Python and SQL; navigating and working with large and/or complex data sets including the ability to join together several sources effectively.
  • Able to present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience balancing business objectives with actuarial standards.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience interpreting complex data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive analytical projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

Compensation  

  • $98,400−$146,500/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive program up to 30% - 40% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
