ABOUT THE POSITION
The Manager, Performance Marketing serves as a key hub for paid media, translating client business objectives into integrated, performance-driven media strategies across digital and traditional channels. This role leads planning, buying, execution, and optimization for a portfolio of multi-location and franchise accounts, ensuring campaigns stay aligned with broader brand and business goals while maintaining financial accuracy and accountability.
The Manager, Performance Marketing brings strong command of paid media buying platforms, data and analytics, and client relationship management, and oversees and mentors Associate- and Lead-level team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development support. The Manager reports to the Director, Performance Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own cross-channel media strategies for a portfolio of clients in the home services and fitness industries, aligning paid media investment to KPI frameworks and growth targets
  • Develop media plans, investment scenarios, and channel mix recommendations across channels such as paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, broadcast, OOH, and direct mail, using platforms including AdScience and first- and third-party data
  • Lead execution, pacing, and optimization of paid campaigns while remaining actively involved in campaign setup, management, and optimization, managing significant client budgets with disciplined reallocation to maximize ROI
  • Maintain accountability for financial accuracy, including reconciliation of planned vs. actual spend and monthly actualization
  • Drive performance improvement through testing, audience segmentation, creative iteration, and attribution modeling, connecting media outcomes to client revenue
  • Serve as a primary media point of contact for assigned accounts, leading QBRs and presentations with senior client stakeholders
  • Identify account growth opportunities and lead data-driven upsell, renewal, and scope proposals in partnership with account and strategy teams
  • Oversee and mentor Associate- and Lead-level team members, providing direction, feedback, and professional development support
  • Serve as an escalation point for campaign, client, or workload challenges requiring senior support or decision-making
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with creative, analytics, account, and media teams to ensure integrated planning and execution
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform innovations, and measurement advancements to support agency competitiveness
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in integrated media planning and buying, paid media, or performance marketing, ideally within an agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency managing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, programmatic platforms, and other paid digital and traditional channels
  • Solid analytical skills including attribution modeling and the ability to connect media performance to client revenue and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing client relationships, with confidence presenting to senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support their professional growth
  • Experience managing budget reconciliation and financial reporting accuracy, including planned vs. actual spend and monthly actualization
  • Working knowledge of media research, planning, and measurement platforms
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
