Job description

Full-Time • Onsite

Build the Technology Behind a Category That Didn’t Exist — Until Now

Some industries evolve slowly. Others need a complete reinvention. We’re building technology for the latter.

Our organization is creating a new operational model for regulated facilities — replacing decades of fragmented processes with a unified, intelligent platform powered by automation, AI, and modern engineering. We’re not iterating on an old system. We’re building the foundation of an entirely new one.

If you want to work where AI meets real-world operations, where your code directly impacts revenue, efficiency, and customer experience, and where you can ship meaningful features weekly — you’ll feel right at home here.

The Role: Build the Systems That Power Everything

As a Software Engineer, AI & Platform Systems, you’ll architect and deliver the core technology that drives our operational engine. You’ll work across AI scoring pipelines, multi-tenant dashboards, voice agent integrations, CRM-connected tools, and automation workflows that eliminate hundreds of hours of manual work.

This is not a “help maintain the app” role. This is a build the platform role.

You’ll ship production-grade systems used daily by internal teams and external clients — systems that must be fast, reliable, secure, and scalable.

What You’ll OwnAI & Automation Pipelines
  • Build automated scoring engines for audio, documents, and workflows

  • Generate structured outputs, PDF scorecards, and coaching insights

  • Design prompts, streaming logic, and error handling for LLM-driven features

Multi-Tenant Dashboards
  • Create client-facing and internal dashboards with real-time data sync

  • Implement RBAC, embedded analytics, and organization-level isolation

  • Build on modern frameworks like Next.js and Supabase

Voice Agent Integrations
  • Connect voice agents to backend logic, CRM workflows, and escalation routing

  • Build conversation memory and real-time event handling

Lead & Performance Systems
  • Architect routing engines, SLA enforcement, dialer integrations, and scoring logic

  • Build accountability dashboards and operational reporting tools

Internal Automation
  • Design workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks across departments

  • Build webhook-driven pipelines and API integrations that scale

CRM Enhancements
  • Extend CRM functionality with custom fields, automation flows, and analytics

  • Support future migrations, product catalog build-outs, and advanced reporting

How You’ll Work

We move fast. We ship often. We use AI tools aggressively — but responsibly.

You’ll use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI accelerators daily. But you must understand what you ship. If you can’t explain a function, debug it without AI, or spot a bad pattern before it hits production, this isn’t the right environment.

We want engineers who treat AI as a multiplier, not a crutch.

Your BackgroundRequired
  • 3+ years building production applications

  • Daily experience with Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript

  • Strong database design skills (PostgreSQL or Supabase)

  • Real-world API integration experience (REST, OAuth2, JWT, webhooks)

  • At least one shipped production feature using an LLM

  • Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, SSE, or similar)

  • Strong testing discipline and CI/CD experience

  • Solid understanding of security fundamentals

  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools

  • US-based; onsite in Naperville preferred

Nice to Have
  • CRM API integration experience

  • PDF generation pipelines

  • Voice agent or real-time audio workflows

  • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience

  • RAG pipeline design

  • Experience building software that directly impacts revenue

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $80,000–$150,000, depending on experience

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • High-ownership engineering environment

  • Direct access to senior leadership

  • Opportunity to build foundational systems for a scaling AI-driven platform

  • Modern tools, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging technologies

  • Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy culture

  • Significant growth opportunities
