Job description

Power Platform Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Architect with deep expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate, and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role involves designing enterprise-grade solutions, defining architecture best practices, and guiding an existing.NET development team to adopt and deliver solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate. The Architect will be responsible for solution strategy, governance, integration design, and hands-on implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of enterprise PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) and Power Automate flows.
  • Define standards, reusable components, and development patterns for scalable Power Platform solutions.
  • Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for Power Platform usage. Integrate PowerApps/Power Automate with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure services, and third-party APIs. Mentor and train the.NET development team to upskill on PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Create technical guidelines to translate.NET application logic into Power Platform solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and solution assessments for Power Platform deliverables.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Power Platform projects.
  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate designs before production rollout.
  • Oversee migration of existing business processes from legacy/.NET apps to Power Platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years in Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Proven experience in both Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps development.
  • Strong experience integrating PowerApps with REST APIs, Azure Functions, and external data sources.
  • Expertise in solution architecture, application lifecycle management (ALM), and DevOps for Power Platform.
  • Hands-on experience in Power Fx formulas, custom connectors, and advanced Power Automate workflows.
  • Background in.NET development with understanding of C#, ASP.NET, and RESTful services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, SharePoint Online, Teams integration, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong communication skills to guide teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or Power Platform Developer Associate( Nice to Have)
  • Experience with AI Builder, Power BI integration, and RPA with Power Automate Desktop ( Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of environment strategy, DLP policies, and governance best practices ( Nice to Have)
