Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, creating a safe and trusting environment conducive to open communication.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients for suicidality and potential risks, ensuring safety and appropriate care planning.
  • Facilitate the admission process for new clients, demonstrating professionalism and a welcoming attitude while conducting thorough admission assessments.
  • Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings to set and communicate treatment goals, ensuring seamless collaboration with other clinical team members.
  • Provide utilization reviews to insurance companies, ensuring necessary clinical documentation supports initial authorizations and ongoing care.
  • Maintain timely communication with family members, returning calls and emails within two hours during business hours, and addressing inquiries within 24 hours outside regular hours.
  • Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge, including confirming discharge appointments with clients and families.
  • Initiate discharge planning from day one, guiding clients through transition plans and ensuring they leave with effective coping skills and necessary resources.
  • Manage crises effectively within sessions and provide support to milieu staff, maintaining high clinical quality within our therapeutic environment.
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and promptly to reflect the treatment process and client progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of mental health challenges and diagnosis. Your role is crucial in fostering recovery and resilience in individuals facing significant life transitions, emotional distress, or psychiatric conditions. The personal connections you build will empower clients to work through their struggles and achieve better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
  • An independent license to practice in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
  • Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload and interfacing effectively with large organizations and care providers.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
