Location and Role Details

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska

Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) for a telehealth role that values steady communication, thoughtful treatment planning, and practical support. You will work with clients in Nebraska who may be managing independent mental health practice, therapy, assessment, and remote treatment planning, while maintaining clear documentation and ethical remote care standards.

This position is ideal for a counselor who can combine active listening, clear treatment goals, and practical clinical support in every session.

Responsibilities

        Offer virtual therapy sessions focused on safety, trust, and steady progress

        Support clients with emotional concerns, coping strategies, symptom management, and practical next steps

        Complete clinical intakes and ongoing treatment reviews

        Help clients strengthen coping tools and make sense of current challenges

        Maintain accurate records using electronic documentation systems

        Practice within licensure, ethical standards, and remote care requirements

Requirements

        Active Nebraska LIMHP license in good standing

        Master's degree in a relevant behavioral health field appropriate for Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner licensure

        Full clinical licensure required; temporary, associate, intern, or probationary licenses are not intended for this role

        Confidence managing treatment plans, documentation, and client communication in a full-time role.

        Experience providing counseling services in outpatient, telehealth, private practice, or community settings is helpful.
