Position Description: The Junior Business Intelligence (BI) and Power Platform Developer supports the design, development, enhancement, and support of business intelligence, workflow automation, reporting, and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft (MS) Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, and related technologies.
Minimum/General Experience: 1 year of Power BI, MS Power Platform, and SharePoint development experience
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience designing and developing ad-hoc applications, dashboards, reports, and datasets using MS Power BI
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and data visualizations
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power Apps and Power Automate workflows
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint webpage development and content publishing
  • Experience supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience with reading and writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience connecting applications to data sources (e.g., Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, other cloud services)
  • Experience reviewing and working with users based on support tickets
  • Experience designing and maintaining data models and relationships
  • Experience gathering requirements and developing technical documentation
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and compliance
  • Knowledge of building virtual agents using SQL, Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of machine learning open-source libraries & platforms (e.g., MLflow, Aforge.Net, Pytorch, pandas, numpy, sklearn, XGBoost, Tensorflow/Keras, or similar TRM-approved languages)

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supports design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and sunset activities
  • Works with stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements, develop technical documentation, and quality assurance test scripts
  • Provides Tier 1 and 2 support to end users through ticketing protocols
  • Designs and develops cybersecurity audit related ad-hoc apps, dashboards, reports, and datasets using MS Power BI
  • Supports the development Power BI datasets
  • Sustains a user access security framework
  • Uses SharePoint Online Development and MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and AI Builder, and MS Flow)
  • Supports relational database creation and administration
  • Supports automation of business and data analysis methodologies to optimize business processes and system workflow
  • Develops a Power BI Metadata Portal to house cyber audit related data
  • Develops and maintains Power BI Artifact Metadata Digital Catalog that includes data refresh schedule and status, data sources and performance measure calculation methodologies
  • Develops a MS SQL Database to develop data models related to collecting and managed audit data
  • Uses machine learning open-source libraries & platforms to develop enhanced audit management solutions
  • Creates and modifies data reports and dashboards/visualizations
  • Shares data reports and dashboards across applications as needed (e.g., SharePoint Online, Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, MS Flow)
  • Manages the architecture and development of SharePoint Online solutions
  • Publishes and manages SharePoint content, modernizations efforts, and site migrations to improve usability, performance, and compliance

Compensation & Benefits: The annual projected pay range for this position is $68,508 - $87,890 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.
